“I spent my placement at Colchester and Ipswich Museum Services. During my placement, I worked on a variety of objects, such as Archaeological finds, Furniture and Natural History Specimens. I gained so much more scientific knowledge during my placement, as well as learning what it was like to work in a Museum environment.”

“During my placement at Colchester and Ipswich Museum services, I treated a variety of objects, from a group of concealed items, to a coin hoard. I also treated some wet specimens. Being given this opportunity to work in the Natural History department was really enjoyable. I felt that I gained so much knowledge and confidence on placement, and was really able to appreciate what it would be like to work in a museum.”
