Treatment of Seal Skin, click here.

“For my third year project at Lincoln, I treated a seal skin wall hanging, as I wanted to gain more experience conserving Natural History specimens. The seal skin was a really interesting object to work on, and helped me develop new skills.  After graduation, I hope to work in museums, but now also intend to try and specialise in the conservation of Natural History objects.”

Libby undertook a 6 week placement at the Colchester and Ipswich Museums Service. To find out more about this placement click here.
